Prof. Hodges and Prof. Simpson have each individually published chapters in Arquitectura e mutações no tecido urbano: uma antologia, a new book edited by Tiago Saldanha Quadros and published by Circo de ideias.
It is an anthology that deals with the significant transformations that have taken place in Macau from 1911 to the present day. Prof. Hodges’s chapter focuses on the role of land reclamation on the development of Macao and Prof. Simpson’s chapter is an interview on the topic of Architecture of Macao. This project was supported by the Babel-Cultural Organisation, the Culture Development Fund of the Macao SAR Government, the Banco Nacional Ultramarino and the Fundação Oriente.
