Class Suspension on 3 October 2012

In accord to the instruction announced by the Chief Executive on 25 September 2012, staff members are granted exemption from work on 3 October 2012. Therefore all classes will be suspended on the said day. All tests or examinations scheduled on that day will be postponed and related arrangement will be announced later.

UM Dept. of Communication signs exchange agreement with Lisbon Consortium allowing for student exchanges in the areas of Creative and Cultural Industries.

In July, Tim Simpson delivered an invited keynote address at the Lisbon Summer School for the Study of Culture, a graduate program offered by the Catholic University of Lisbon and the Lisbon Consortium. While in Lisbon, Prof. Simpson and Prof. Isabel Gil, Dean of Human Sciences at Catholic University, also signed an exchange
