UM Department of Communication joins the five-school alliance on journalism and communication

Department of Communication, University of Macau has joined the Ph.D. Student Symposia of Chinese Research Alliance on Journalism and Communication (short term: five-school alliance), which includes the City University of Hong Kong (CityU), Communication University of China (CUC), Fudan University (Fudan), and Taiwan National University (TNU), all are distinguished in their programmes of journalism and communication. The purpose of the symposia is to provide an annual platform for graduate students to share their research outcomes. This year’s symposia, entitled “Transformation and Innovation of Communication”, was held at CUC in Beijing between Oct 10-11, which gathered over 40 graduate students in the Greater China region. Prof Wu Mei attended the symposia on behalf of the department. Doctoral students Gordon Yao Qi, Yang Liu and Wendy Huang presented their papers.

澳門大學傳播系加入五校學術聯盟

澳門大學傳播系獲推薦加入由中國傳媒大學新聞傳播學部、復旦大學新聞學院、香港城市大學媒體與傳播系及臺灣大學新聞研究所組織的中華新聞傳播學術聯盟（簡稱五校聯盟）。該聯盟成員均為大中華地區新聞傳播教育知名院系，致力於為本地區新聞傳播領域的研究生提供年度的研究交流機會。本年度的第六屆中華新聞傳播學術聯盟研究生學術研討會“傳播的變革與創新”於十月十一至十二日在中國傳媒大學新聞傳播學部舉行。吳玫副教授代表傳播系出席論壇，我系三名博士研究生姚琦，楊柳和黃亞文出席了研討會。。他們在論壇上進行了精彩的點評和發言。
