The 3-day conference has attracted some 120 scholars, researchers, professors and graduate students working in film, media and popular culture studies from the interdisciplinary field of the arts, humanities and social sciences. In addition to a wide array of paper presentations, it also features three keynote lectures by distinguished scholars of international reputation, and six screening sessions for award-winning films made by notable filmmakers in Macao and elsewhere, including Taiwan, Spain and USA.
